NEWS: Applied Physical Sciences Participates in ICEX 2016
Scientists from Applied Physical Sciences are on station at Ice Camp Sargo to participate in ICEX 2016. APS’ research involves sound propagation studies and analyses for a series of under-ice acoustic projects. ICEX 2016 is a five-week exercise designed to research, test, and evaluate operational capabilities in the Arctic region. ICEX 2016 allows the U.S. Navy to assess operational readiness in the Arctic, increase experience in the region, advance understanding of the Arctic Environment, and develop partnerships and collaborative efforts.
