NEWS: Naval Surface Warfare Center/Carderock Division Awards $45.5M Contract to Applied Physical Sciences for Ship Signature Control and Mitigation
Applied Physical Sciences Corp. (APS) was recently awarded a 4-year, $45.5 million contract by the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Carderock Division (NSWCCD) to address future Ship Signature Control and Mitigation needs. APS will provide the Ship Signatures Department of NSWCCD with engineering services. In commenting on this award, Dr. Charles Corrado, the president of APS noted “This contract award is an important milestone in the growth of our company. One of the founding principles of APS was to provide innovative, physics based solutions to complex problems in ship signature control and other engineering disciplines. Our future work under this contract will assist NSWCCD efforts to assure that the US Navy’s vehicles exhibit signature characteristics which ensure their operational superiority.”
