NEWS: APS Opens San Diego Office
APS is pleased to announce the opening of a West Coast office
APS will open a San Diego office on Oct 1, 2009 at 2750 Dewey Road in Liberty Station (formerly NTC San Diego). The APS Director for West Coast Operations will be Captain John Kusters, USN (ret). John’s naval career is highlighted by his tenure in nuclear submarines, serving aboard USS RICHARD B. RUSSELL and USS LOUISVILLE, and as a naval oceanographer with tours of duty in Hawaii, Spain, San Diego, and Monterey. On August 21, 2009, his family, friends, and colleagues celebrated his 26-year naval career in a ceremony held aboard the Fleet Numerical compound in Monterey, CA where he was serving as the commanding officer. John’s background includes program management and acquisition experience as well as service aboard the carrier, USS JOHN C. STENNIS. He holds an engineering undergraduate degree from Cal Poly, a Masters of Science and Ocean Engineer’s Degree from MIT/WHOI, and an MBA in international business from Cal State.
