Applied Physical Sciences has begun operating two hydrostatic pressure test tanks at their 6000 sq. ft. Groton, CT fabrication facility.  The smaller six inch ID tank is capable of pressure testing up to 2000 PSI.  The larger twelve inch ID tank is capable of pressure testing up to 300 PSI.  These pressure vessels support APS' development capabilities through in-house testing of transducers and sensors.  Key features and capabilities are:

Fresh water testing
6-IN DIA Tank ~ 8 gallon capacity
12-IN DIA Tank ~ 29 gallon capacity
Top loading of test elements
Electrical feed-through connector
Pressure relief valves installed for safety
Pressure gauges with resolution to 20 PSI

APS’ Hydrostatic Pressure Test Tanks provide timely, cost-effective evaluation of underwater electronic devices to support rapid product development.
