Scientists and Engineers from Applied Physical Sciences showcased the CoHerent Acoustic Modulatable Projector (CHAMP) System at the Society of Exploration Geophysicists (SEG), International Exposition and 86th Annual Meeting, held in Dallas TX (http://seg.org/).  A scale model of the CHAMP projector was on display in the exhibit hall and garnered numerous positive inquiries from personnel representing a large cross-section of the marine seismic survey community.  The CHAMP System is funded by ExxonMobil, Shell, and Total and is in its third year of development.  APS is currently assembling a full-scale, integrated CHAMP node, with performance and endurance testing scheduled for 2017.  For more information please send an email to This email address is being protected from spambots.
