Applied Physical Sciences (APS) is seeking an entry-level electrical engineering intern for a part-time position in our Groton, CT office. Successful candidates will be enrolled in a certified degree program and working towards a BS/MS in electrical engineering and/or computer engineering with a solid foundation in the areas including, but not limited to, circuit analysis & simulation, digital signal processing, and communication systems. 

 Additional experience in the following areas would be viewed favorably: printed circuit board (PCB) design, hands-on testing and debugging of electronics in a laboratory environment, analog and digital circuit design, power electronics, experience with MATLAB, as well as electromagnetics. 

 APS engages in a wide range of exciting research & development programs where multidisciplinary teams work closely to tackle difficult technical problems.  This position will allow applicants to make meaningful independent technical contributions to programs while also encouraging close collaboration with subject matter experts, and it will give applicants exposure to all parts of the R&D process, from first-principle analysis through to prototyping and testing integrated systems.
